Australian man suffers shocking injuries in clash with airport security
WARNING, GRAPHIC IMAGES: An Australian man has suffered shocking injuries in a violent incident with security guards at an Israeli airport.
Ben de Jong, 41, suffered a broken jaw and underwent emergency surgery after being allegedly assaulted in Tel Aviv.
“Finally now that I’ve had the surgery it’s kind of put my jaw back into place cause it was broken,” Mr De Jong said.
The Australian expatriate has lived in Israel for five years with his wife and two daughters.
A statement from Tel Aviv airport says he refused to identify himself to a security official.
