Australia Post worker sacked after he's caught urinating in customer's plant

An Australia Post delivery man has been caught red-handed after CCTV showed him relieving himself on a pot plant at a home in Victoria.

In footage obtained by 3AW, the worker dressed in bright yellow hi-vis, approaches the property in Bendigo before knocking on the door.

When no one answers, he then moves towards the plant and appears to urinate into its pot.

After over 20 seconds and checking his handheld device several times, he finishes up and nonchalantly strolls off.

Brad, who was not identified further, shared the footage with the radio station.

He said the delivery man had triggered a motion sensor camera at his niece’s property.

“She got a text message with the video!” he revealed to Tom Elliott.

An Australia Post spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia that the contractor would no longer be delivering for the company.

“This is completely unacceptable conduct and we apologise for any distress caused to the customer and will be reaching out to them,” the spokesperson said.

“We expect much better than this and won't tolerate this kind of behaviour, and as a result this person will no longer be delivering for Australia Post.”
