Australia Post customer hits out over 'puzzling' delivery problem
An Australia Post customer has been left baffled after she received a notification stating there was no access to her Australia Post PO box.
The customer was expecting a parcel via Express Post to be delivered to her PO box located at Kogarah Post Office when she received an update made at nearby suburb Carlton that advised her the postman was unable to make the delivery.
"Latest tracking update, noted from Carlton (the next suburb), 'attempted delivery unable to gain access'. Okay, how can an Aus Post delivery to an Aus Post PO Box not get access...hmmmm," the customer wrote on the Australia Post Facebook page.
"Is this the new variation on the leaving a card when you’re actually home?" she asked.
An Australia Post spokesperson responded on Facebook describing the situation as "puzzling" and said they would look into it.

Australia Post advertise the benefits of renting a PO box as 24 hour access to your mail and never missing another parcel delivery.
An Australia Post spokesperson responded to Yahoo News Australia saying they had followed up with the customer and the parcel was awaiting collection.
"Our people have been working harder than ever to deliver record volumes of parcels. We are aware of this customer’s concerns and we’ve followed up with them directly," the spokesperson said.
