Aussies warned of fake celebrity scams on social media
An increasing number of Aussies are falling for fake celebrity endorsement scams.
Some overseas products are falsely using well known names and faces in an attempt to lure consumers into an expensive subscription they can’t get out of.
Even our own Kochie has been caught up in the scam with his face being used without permission to push an erectile dysfunction cream.
“It’s an absolute con. Just for the record, even for an old codger the nether regions are working ok’, says Kochie.
Those who are caught up in the scam are urged to contact their bank immediately.
