Former Home and Away actress Tammin Sursok has divided opinion on social media this week, after she shared a naked family snap to Instagram celebrating a recent holiday.
The 35-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of herself with daughters Lennon, 1, and Phoenix, 6, enjoying a getaway in the US state of Montana.
The trio are facing away from the camera wearing nothing but their birthday suits, a star emoji covering their bottoms, as they look over a gorgeous green forest view.
“Thank you Montana and @yourmontanagetaway for the MOST incredible stay!” she captioned the family photo. “You stole our hearts and by the looks of it, our clothes.”
The private moment shared to the public platform was enough to seriously divide opinion among the former Home and Away star’s fans.
While some loved the photo, others argued it was inappropriate to share online.
“I'm sorry but this isn’t ok,” one fan wrote.
“It's cute but also kinda weird,” another admitted.
Others thought it was a very sweet moment, but too private for the actresses 1.3 million followers.
“Some picture should just be [personal],” one person wrote. “Love for your family but not out in the world.”
To this, the Pretty Little Liars star responded that every family was entitled to their own opinions and way of doing things.
“A thank you for your opinion,” she responded. “It’s not mine- and that’s the beauty of living our own lives and freedom. Have a great day!”
Fans step in to defend ‘natural’ moment
Many other fans pushed back against the criticism and had nothing but praise for the photo which they argued captured a natural, beautiful moment between a mum and her babies.
“I love this!!!” one fan wrote. “Who cares what people say?? It's your life and your body.”
“Hell yeah for teaching your children to be body positive not body-conscious!” another wrote.
“I love [how] open you are with [your] kids!” another agreed.
Tammin has been contacted for comment.
Tammin has never shied away from being open about her life and struggles in the past, last year revealing that a devastating eating disorder had plagued her for years on hit Aussie drama Home and Away.
The Pretty Little Liars star is now happy and healthy, based in the US with husband Sean McEwen and children, Phoenix, five, and Lennon, born in January last year.
It’s not the first time an Aussie celebrity has fallen afoul of parenting critics online.
Earlier this year Jen Hawkins was forced to defend her snap of baby girl Frankie Violet at the beach, after fans slammed the new mum for putting her daughter in the sun.
