WATCH: Aussie fisherman tussles with shark
Video has emerged of an Aussie fisherman’s tug of war with a great white shark.
Caters News reports David Wilks, 46, encountered the white pointer fishing off the coast of Port Pirie, South Australia in December.
In the video he finds the shark at the end of the net and palms it right on the nose to get it off.
He continues to wrestle the net back into the boat before it swims away.
Mr Wilks’ son Nic said the pair had the net out to catch snook when the shark went swimming inside and started eating the fish.
