Aus to provide $15m to Rohingya crisis

Australia will provide a further $15 million aid to the Rohingya crisis.

The announcement on Saturday by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop follows a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, who has been in Sydney for the Global Summit of Women.

The funding, which will go toward delivery of food, shelter and medical services, brings Australia's humanitarian contribution to $46.5 million since September, a statement said.
