Arsenal will be looking to continue their winning start to their Europa League campaign when they host Dundalk at the Emirates on Thursday.

The Gunners had to do things the hard way in coming from behind to beat Rapid Vienna in their opening fixture last week, with goals from David Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang turning the tide.

Mikel Arteta’s side were beaten 1-0 by Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday and the Spaniard will be keen to see his side bounce back ahead of next weekend’s trip to Old Trafford.

Irish side Dundalk have qualified for the competition’s group stages for only the second time in their history, but got off to a losing start as they went down 2-1 to Molde last week.

Date, time and venue

Arsenal vs Dundalk is scheduled for a 8pm GMT kick-off on Thursday, October 29.

The match will be held behind closed doors at Emirates Stadium due to coronavirus restrictions.

How to watch

TV channel: The match will be televised on BT Sport 2, with coverage starting from 8pm.

Live stream: BT Sport subscribers will be able to watch the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Team news

Mikel Arteta has just two fit recognised central defenders available. Shkodran Mustafi and Gabriel Magalhaes are his only options, with David Luiz (thigh), Rob Holding (hamstring), Pablo Mari (ankle) and Calum Chambers (knee) all missing through injury.

Fellow defenders Sokratis Papastathopoulos and William Saliba are unavailable having been left out of the Europa League squad as Gabriel Martinelli (knee) also misses out - but Willian and Bukayo Saka should be in contention.

Provisional squad: Leno, Runarsson, Bellerin, Maitland-Niles, Gabriel, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Tierney, Saka, Ceballos, Elneny, Partey, Willock, Xhaka, Nelson, Pepe, Smith Rowe, Willian, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Nketiah.

Predicted lineup (3-4-3): Leno; Mustafi, Gabriel, Kolasinac; Cedric, Elneny, Willock, Maitland-Niles; Pepe, Nketiah, Nelson.
