A man has been charged after allegedly detaining a woman by knifepoint in a western Sydney toilet before driving her back to his unit and sexually assaulting her.
The 40-year-old man allegedly forced the 34-year-old woman into the toilet of a Wentworthville unit block on August 3, threatening her with a knife and punching her.
He then allegedly forced her into his car and drove her to a nearby unit, where he raped her.
He was arrested in the unit after a short struggle on Thursday and has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, detaining a person, break and enter and other charges.
Police have also seized a car, electronic stun device and clothes from his unit.
The man was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Friday.
