Anton Du Beke stopped by the celebrity version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire this weekend.

Airing on Sunday, 2 February, the Strictly Come Dancing judge's gameshow appearance started off idiosyncratically risqué, as host Jeremy Clarkson asked him "A traditional dish of sausages in batter is called 'toad-in-the-...' what?"

The contestant's analysis of the possible answers was then deemed to be lowering the tone by Clarkson.

Crevice, Gap, Slot or Hole were Du Beke's four possible selections for his £100 question.

As Clarkson read out "C: Slot", the dancer casually commented: "Ohhh I wish it was", with the presenter then peering over his glasses at him as studio attendees laughed from the sidelines.

"Tone is lowered and I haven't even given you the fourth option, which is hole," replied the Clarkson's Farm star.

"You're quite right I'm not sure that's better! But I'm gonna go for the hole," was Du Beke's response, much to the delight of the crowd once again.

He really is a master of those dark arts.

Next up after Du Beke, who crashed out of Millionaire with just £1000 in his pocket for a chosen charity, was First Dates maître d'hôtel Fred Sirieix.

The Frenchman was immediately up against it though, as he struggled to figure out whether people tread water or pass water as a method for staying afloat - English being his second language.

Facing the very real possibility of the contestant dropping out of the game at the first hurdle, Clarkson put Sirieix "out of my misery" in the end by jokingly asking the cameras to turn away and giving him the correct answer.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
