Police appeal for answers after alleged bus stop sexual assault
Video footage has been released by police in a public appeal for information following an alleged sexual assault in Melbourne’s southeast.
A 22-year-old woman told police that she was waiting at a High St bus stop in Cranbourne just before 10am on April 9 when an unknown man approached.
He moved towards the woman from behind before allegedly touching her inappropriately and walking away.
Police are looking to speak to a man aged in his 40s to 60s who they believe may be able to assist in their investigation.
He is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance with short dark-coloured hair and a moustache and was wearing a brown jacket, light blue pants and a long shirt.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.
