AnnaLynne McCord’s romantic relationship with Dominic Purcell has run its course.

The 90210 alum, who’s starring in a new TV show called Let’s Get Physical on the Pop network, once said that she “gave up all my 20s for” her on-again, off-again Prison Break actor beau. After all, they started dating in 2011, split in 2014, and then rekindled their romance in 2016 after he was diagnosed with skin cancer. These days, however, they are in the friend zone.

“I still see him from time to time,” McCord, 30, told Yahoo Lifestyle on the set of Build Series NYC on Tuesday. “We’re friends. We’re not together anymore, but we are very close.”

So close, in fact, that she remains in contact with her ex and his family. (Purcell, 47, has four children with his ex-wife.)

“His daughters stay at my house,” McCord continued. “I love him. He’s like family to me. The kids are like family. I’ve watched them grow up. I saw him the other night, and he was in town. We’re very, very amicable.”

McCord’s new show allows her to show off a different side of herself — her silly one. It’s a comedy about the fitness world (yes, there are leg warmers!) and it co-stars Jane Seymour, Matt Jones, David Rossetti, and Chris Diamantopoulos.

Hear AnnaLynne talk about her funny new role:

“I was really nervous to try it out, because [comedy] was something I’ve always wanted to do, but I’m going on set with comedians who are funny,” said McCord, who also appeared on Nip/Tuck. “I’m like, I don’t know if I’m going to be good at this. But it was an awesome experience, and I’ve never had more fun. And I really like it. I would really like to continue in that vein because it’s such a different energy and, like I said, it was a lot of fun.”

Let’s Get Physical premieres Jan. 24 at 8:30 p.m. on Pop TV.
