Angela Scanlon announces she is expecting baby number two

The One Show's Angela Scanlon has announced that she is expecting her second baby.

The TV star, 37, shared her happy news on social media, writing "SO, this is happening" alongside two snaps of her cradling her baby bump.

She told her fans that she is due next spring.

"I’m pregnant & apparently already prepping for actual labour," the star wrote.

"Baby Horgan The Second (official title) arrives next spring."

"Feeling very lucky & excited & also nervous about jumping on a trampoline (forever)," she added.

Scanlon, who is also known for the robot combat TV series Robot Wars, tied the knot with her husband Roy Horgan in 2014.

In 2018 they welcomed a daughter together.

The presenter’s fans and celebrity friends flocked to the comments section on Instagram to send their congratulations after she revealed that she was expecting again.

“Lovely news!!!!!” posted her One Show colleague Alex Jones, while actor Catriona Balfe wrote: “Congratulations gorgeous woman X.”

“Screaming for you!!!!!!!!!!” posted singer Alexandra Burke, adding: “Congrats my darling xxxx.”
