Ana Navarro says Biden should pardon his son

Ana Navarro left President Biden a message on Monday’s edition of ABC’s “The View,” recommending the sitting president pardon his son Hunter Biden.

“And this is what I’m going to tell Joe — Joe, since they’re talking smack about you anyways, you know what? Maybe pardon Hunter,” she said. “Pardon Hunter because we, basically America just pardoned a criminal who was convicted of felonies.”

Hunter Biden has been found guilty on a variety of felony convictions after lying about his use of illicit drugs when applying to purchase a gun six years ago and unlawfully possessing it thereafter. He is the first child of a sitting president to face a criminal conviction.

“America just elected a man who pardoned Jared Kushner’s father, who set up his brother-in-law with a hooker and then sent the pictures to the sister because they were in the midst of a fight over the parents’ money,” she added. “He’s probably going to pardon some of the folks from Jan. 6, those insurrectionists. So, you know what? It’s your son. He probably wouldn’t have been prosecuted if his last name wasn’t Biden. Baby, you got 2 1/2 months. I’m good with you pardoning Hunter.”

The White House has said there are no plans to pardon the president’s son after President-elect Trump’s victory last week.

“Our answer stands, which is no,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters.

Trump in earlier remarks did not rule out a pardon for Hunter Biden, saying that he “wouldn’t take it off the books.” He offered the comments during an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt last month.
