Alleged bikies charged in Qld drug raids

A series of police raids in south Queensland have seen 22 people, including numerous alleged bikies, charged with more than 100 drugs and firearms offences.

Police say they executed search warrants across the Darling Downs where they seized quantities of ice, cannabis, steroids and prescription medications, along with paraphernalia.

The state's Organised Crime Gang Group's anti-bikie taskforce and local police also allegedly seized unlicensed firearms including a handgun, several long arms, body armour and ammunition.

Police say a number of known bikies and associates would appear in the Warwick and Stanthorpe Magistrates Courts on drugs and weapons charges as well as breaches of domestic violence orders.
