Alexander Brothers’ Friend Cuts Honeymoon Short to Face Sexual Assault Charge
A friend of the embattled Alexander brothers cut his Japanese honeymoon short to turn himself in to police and face a charge of sexual assault, according to a report.
Ohad Fisherman, known as the “hummus hunk,” stands accused of taking part in a 2016 gang rape allegedly committed by the luxury real estate broker Oren Alexander and his identical twin brother Alon Alexander.
Prosecutors say that the siblings, along with their other brother, Tal Alexander, conspired “to repeatedly and violently drug, sexually assault, and rape dozens of victims” over more than a decade.
Fisherman surrendered to law enforcement on Wednesday after returning to Miami from Japan and was arraigned on Wednesday, according to The Miami Herald. A judge said he will be released on bond if his family puts up $260,000 in collateral and pays $25,000.
While law enforcement had previously described Fisherman as “at large,” his attorney told The New York Times that this was not accurate and that Fisherman, who was out of the country for his honeymoon, quickly arranged plans to return to Florida.
He has yet to enter a plea in the case, according to the Times.
Prosecutors say that on New Year’s Eve in 2016, Fisherman, pinned a woman’s shoulders with his knees as Oren and Alon Alexander raped her, per the Herald.
As a condition of his release, Fisherman, who was born in Israel but became an American citizen in 2023, has already surrendered his passports for both countries, according to the Times.
The 39-year-old, who now works as a real estate broker in Miami, was from 2016 to 2020 a colleague of Oren and Tal Alexander at the firm Douglas Elliman, the Times reported.
All three Alexander brothers were arrested last Wednesday.
Prosecutors say that the brothers used “the promise of luxury experiences” to “lure and entice women to locations where they were then forcibly raped or sexually assaulted, sometimes by multiple men, including one or more of the Alexander brothers.”
