Aldi mayonnaise recalled over contamination fears

An Aldi-stocked mayonnaise has been recalled over fears of faulty packaging.

The NSW Food Authority issued a warning about all batches of the 466g jars of Colway Real Mayonnaise.

There are fears the jars have a “potential for glass breakage”, with consumers urged not to eat the product and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Faulty packaging could cause injury or result in glass contamination,” the warning reads.

If you are concerned about your health you should seek medical advice.

Just yesterday, a popular brand of Apple Pie was recalled due to the potential presence of glass in an ingredient.

The recall is on the 600g Nanna’s Family Apple Pie with a best before date of October 21, 2020 or October 22, 2020 only.
