Aldi items transform bathroom tiles for $18: 'Definitely getting them'

Tile grout can be one of the toughest things to get sparkly clean, but one woman has discovered a genius hack that leaves incredible results.

And the best part is she did it using products from budget retailer Aldi.

Sharing her impressive cleaning duo discovery on the popular Facebook page Aldi Mums Australia, she explained exactly how she did it.

The woman said she teamed up popular Aldi pre-wash stain remover Di-San with the Super Sonic power brush Special Buy.

“I want to show you an exciting combo of products for cleaning grouts,” she wrote.

She said she was “very happy” with the results and that her bathroom had never looked better.

How the budget cleaning hack works

Showing off her clean grout, the woman said the $1.29 cleaner teamed up with the $16.99 brush set left her tiles like new.

The popular Special Buy brush set which went on sale on September 11 is a Power cleaning system that has four different interchangeable heads.

The battery-powered brush is great for hard-to-clean areas and can cut scrubbing time by up to 75 percent.

Fellow Aldi mums said they loved the idea and couldn’t wait to give it a try.

“I bought this today too and did around edges of the shower and around taps was pretty good. Will try with the cleaning spray,” one person said.

“Ohhh yes, definitely going to get them brushes,” added another.

If you miss out on the popular Special Buy, others said they’ve been able to buy a similar brush elsewhere.

“Long life grout cleaner from Bunnings works fab too, they also sell these electric brushes,” one person explained.

The cleaner - which is meant to be used as a laundry stain remover - has been widely used for a while range of tricky cleaning jobs.

Other than cleaning grout, Aldi fans have used it on tiles, dirty shoes, ovens and even on furniture with one woman completely transforming her old, stained couch.

Di-San has picked up a cult following from Aldi fans two versions available, a degreaser that's used as a ‘powerful stain removal with a lemon-scent and a pre-wash stain remover that has a Eucalyptus scent. Both are Australian made.
