Advance voting in municipal and school board elections begins Friday in Regina and Saskatoon ahead of election day on Nov. 13.

In Regina, advance polls are open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. CST, Friday through Monday.

Unlike the provincial election, you can cast your ballot at any of the voting locations.

This includes Regina city hall, which also has a drive-thru option and is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. inside and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the drive-thru.

There are also polls at the south and northwest leisure centres, the Northgate and Victoria Square malls (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and Monday only at the University of Regina (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

In Saskatoon, advance polls open Friday to Monday at various locations from noon to 8 p.m. CST each day.

There are also advance polls for University of Saskatchewan students on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST and at Saskatchewan Polytechnic on Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.

To vote you will need one piece of government-issued photo identification that shows your name and address, like a driver's licence.

You can still vote without a photo ID if you have two other pieces of identification, either government-issued like a health card, or something with your name and address on it, like a utility bill.

Moose Jaw's advance poll is at the Moose Jaw Golden Nugget Centre and is open Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. CST.
