A murder charge has been dropped against one of four men accused of killing another man in Adelaide.
The four came before Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday where a prosecutor said the case against one man over the murder of Ben Gravett at a block of units in December would not proceed.
The other three men, who can't be identified, will answer the murder charge in October.
It's alleged Mr Gravett died during a violent altercation when some of the accused were out collecting drug debts.
The 29-year-old victim was stabbed with a chisel.
The car the attackers were allegedly driving that night was later found dumped and burned out and the four accused men were arrested over following days.
No reason was given in court on Friday for not proceeding with the case again one man.
