A man who's wanted for nearly 50 fraud offences committed across Australia has been arrested in his Sydney home, which was allegedly packed with high-end electronics and luxury designer handbags.

Police raided a unit on Barker Street, Randwick, in Sydney's east on Tuesday and arrested the 51-year-old man.

Officers returned to the unit on Wednesday, seizing designer handbags, clothing, and electronic goods.

The man was charged with four outstanding warrants and a further 47 fraud-related offences, allegedly committed across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.

The extend of his alleged fraud nationwide is valued about $500,000.
