Abbie Chatfield reveals her 'favourite' part of her career: 'Lucky'
She’s made a number of TV appearances, gained hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, and recently purchased her second property worth over a million dollars, but Abbie Chatfield’s favourite part of her career has nothing to do with her fame or fortune.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the popular radio host revealed that her friendship with her fellow Masked Singer guessing panellist Chrissie Swan is the thing she values most.
“How lucky am I to have found a friendship with such a beautiful soul?” she captioned a gallery of photos of herself and Chrissie.
“I think my friendship with @chrissieswan is my favourite thing to come out of this career. I’ve always admired her from afar, but now I get to do it up close!!! Love you chook.”
The photos, which were taken at Joel Creasey’s recent birthday party, feature Abbie and Chrissie posing for a selfie in one snap and hugging tightly in another.

Chrissie later took to the comments to respond to Abbie’s heartfelt post and said that their close friendship “feels like family”.
“What a gift!” she wrote. “Love you too, Chook. Can’t wait to have you in The Compound next week. Bring Uggs!”
‘I’m obsessed with her’
Abbie recently spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle about her friendship with Chrissie and admitted that the former Big Brother star is her “favourite person” she’s ever worked with.
“I just adore her. I’m obsessed with her,” she gushed. “I’m Chrissie Swan’s number one fan.
“She gives such big sister energy to me and she really is a mentor and someone I really look up to and respect. I mean, I said for a long time that she's someone who I really admire in media, and through working with her I’ve become so close to her.
“I think I'm staying at her house in a couple of weeks,” she added with a laugh. “She’s just divine.”
Abbie and Chrissie recently appeared together on this year’s season of The Masked Singer Australia alongside Mel B and Dave Hughes on the guessing panel.
Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton was crowned the show’s winner, while vocal powerhouse Sheldon Riley came in second place and Logie-award winning performer Hugh Sheridan finished third.
