It's a boy! Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to her third child
The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a boy, Kensington Palace has revealed.
The Palace tweeted out the news, stating that the child was delivered at 11.01am (local time), weighing 8lbs 7oz (approximately 3.4 kg).
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news," the Palace tweeted.
Earlier, the Palace’s official Twitter account confirmed that the Duchess had gone into labour, tweeting: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour.
“The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”
It’s understood that the Duchess was admitted to hospital just before 6am.

Many royal devotees were dressed up in Union Jack outfits, holding baby dolls and wearing T-shirts that read: "I was there when Baby No.3 was born."
The birth comes just days after it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa, was pregnant with her first child to husband James Matthews, whom she married in May 2017.

The royal baby’s title will be HRH Prince of Cambridge and he will celebrate his birthday on St George’s Day.
