'It just had a go at the motor': Great white shark circles boat
A WA fisherman and his friends have had a close encounter with a four-metre great white shark as it circled their boat.
Warren Brown was fishing two kilometres off Dunsborough, 254 kilometres south of Perth, on Thursday morning when a shark approached his boat, and even took aim at the motor.
Video footage shows the shark, believed to be four metres in length, circling the boat and swimming up towards the motor.
"Bugger me he just had a go at the motor," Ms Warren can be heard saying.
The shark swims away from the boat before coming back and getting extremely close to it. The shark can be seen just centimetres below the water's surface.
