Pool table, wine cellar, games arcade: Is this Australia's best man cave?

Australian men love their sheds and games rooms, but the owner of a house in the Melbourne suburb of Kew claims he has the best so-called "man cave" in the country.

It comes complete with a virtual golf course and beer on tap, with driveway access straight out of a Hollywood movie.

Then there's the pool table, wine cellar and video game arcade.

Laurie Anderson has built man heaven, even if he says so himself.

His bar boasts a view of the pool via an underwater glass wall, for starters.

The oasis of man things took two years to build, but now Laurie and his wife are selling up.

"Look, I've got some great friends and they're all saying, 'Laurie, what are you selling for, what are we going to do?'", he said.

The house is just as good, complete with a fit-out that won Kitchen of the Year.

Whether or not you think all this is luxury is maybe just a little over the top, there's much more to come.

After he sells here, Laurie is planning to build a new house, with an even more spectacular man cave.

"The next one, I'll probably make the driving range a bit bigger and do a half basketball court and driving range, so it will be twice as big," he says.

"You can shoot hoops at one end and play golf at the other."

But don't be fooled into thinking this space is for the boys only - Laurie says the girls are just as rowdy as the blokes.

The home will go to auction next month and could be yours for around $7 million.
