Man's nasty discovery hidden in shoe he left outside
A man got a nasty surprise when he went to put on his joggers so he could do some gardening.
The Queensland man made a shocking discovery when he found a brown tree snake hiding inside his shoe.
Snake Catcher 24/7 from the Sunshine Coast, Stuart McKenzie, told Yahoo7 the snake was about a metre long.
"It was still in the shoe when I turned up," he said.
"The residents [told me] they see snakes regularly going through the yard but when it's in their shoe then it needs to go."
The family lives in Mount Mellum, not far from the Sunshine Coast.
Mr McKenzie said the snake was safely relocated out of the "nice cosy shoe" and back into the bush.
