Man tattoos entire face including eyeballs and inside mouth
One man has taken body art to a whole new level, completely covering his face with tattoos as well as inside his mouth and his eyeballs.
Eli Ink is a 27-year-old tattoo artist from Brighton in the UK and has undergone a 10-year transformation to turn himself into a walking piece of artwork.
The tattooist says he views himself as a canvas to display his finest tattoo artwork.
“In my opinion, the only person who will only ever understand my transition properly is me. I don’t attempt to describe it to anyone,” he told the Mail Online.
The artist used several coats of black colouring to permanently blacken his skin and went as far as dyeing his eyes and tattooing inside his mouth to get to the look he has now.
Tattooing the whites of eyeballs involves delicately injecting ink in between two layers of the whites of the eye and letting it spread out.
Huge stretchers were implanted in his nose and lower lip to stretch them into unusual shapes as part of his body modification.
He says he has taken inspiration from famous painter Picasso.
“I’ve always been blown away by art itself... especially abstract art, but I do like all forms of art. Body art was just the next logical step for me growing up," he said.

While some may think he has a drastic look, he says it hasn't affected personal aspects of his life, such as his girlfriend Holly, another body-mod enthusiast.
When speaking about his project, he said he will never be finished.
"I am dedicating the rest of my life to body modification and perfecting my work," he said.
He says his love of body modification grew when he experimented with painting and drawing before he became a full-time tattoo artist.
