Man shot up to 10 times at Melbourne tattoo studio with alleged bikie links
A man has been shot up to 10 times in an ambush at a tattoo studio linked to bikies in Melbourne's south east.
Two masked men remain on the run, with police investigating whether the shooting, which occurred about 1.20pm on Thursday at Hampton Park, was related to the murder of a Comanchero Motorcycle Club boss.
There were six people inside the Nitro Ink Tattoo Studio when two men in balaclavas pulled up in a silver sedan.
Witnesses say they opened fire on a 35-year-old customer, hitting him up to 10 times before fleeing in the vehicle. He remains in a critical condition in the Alfred Hospital.

A short time later, a similar vehicle was found burnt out at a nearby street. Inspector Michael Daly said police are treating it as a secondary crime scene.
“We believe that the offenders specifically targeted the victim and that's why we’re treating it as a targeted attack,” Insp Daly told 7 News.
“Whether this is targeted or not, there were innocent members of the public present.”
The store is allegedly linked to Comancheros president Mick Murray, who is currently behind bars.
The attack comes as another Comanchero boss Mick Hawi was laid to rest in Sydney after he was gunned down in a similar ambush outside a local gym last week.
“I’m not privy as to the background or cause for this offence, but I'm sure the investigators will be treating this with open mind as to a number of possibilities,” Mr Daly said.
