Woman stunned by note left on windscreen at car park

An abusive note left to criticise a driver's parking has stunned the recipient.

Jo Clarke was shopping at Auckland's Shore City on Sunday when she returned to her car to find a printed note.

Ms Clarke shared a photo of the note on Facebook.

"Thanks for parking so close," the note reads.

"Next time leave a f****** can opener so I can get out. A******* like you should take the bus."

Ms Clarke said she found the note amusing, despite its content.

"I was even within my white lines!" she wrote.

"Must have been an angry ex-boy/ girl scout."

Ms Clarke told Yahoo7 she reversed and rove forward three times into the park to make sure she had enough space for someone to park on either side of her car.

"I got in there on the first go then straightened up a few more times to make sure I left room on each side," she said.

"I thought it was advertising at first, then I was a bit taken aback someone had printed cards. I considered throwing it away, then thought my friend and I who always joke would have a good laugh about it, so I kept it.

"I've never got anything like that before and didn't meet the person, so it didn't feel personal."

The note has amused Facebook users. One user suggested the driver who posted the note travels with a printer in their car.

Another said the person must have some "real pent up anger inside them".

"I can't believe people actually go to that trouble," the user commented.
