Elderly driver crashes into pedestrians in Adelaide CBD

Pedestrians have escaped serious injury after a car lost control in Adelaide's CBD.

Just after 9pm on Sunday, the vehicle clipped a number of parked cars and hit three pedestrians on Angus Street.

The 81-year-old female driver was treated for shock and taken to hospital as a precaution.

Another two women and a man were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Photos show the vehicle smashed into a parked car.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
