Elderly man, 78, headbutts teen on tram 'after he heard his friend swearing'
Video has emerged of an elderly man headbutting a teenager on a Gold Coast tram.
The 78-year-old and the 18-year-old appear to be holding each other's arms before the older man headbutts the teen in Surfers Paradise on Sunday.
7 News has been told the man punched another teen three times before the video was taken.
It is understood he became angry after hearing another man swearing.
Queensland police are aware of the incident, but at this stage are not investigating as they have not received a complaint.
