Elderly pedestrian punched by motorcyclist in Syd road rage attack

Dash cam vision has captured a violent road rage incident in Sydney's south.

Witnesses say an elderly man was crossing the road when he began arguing with a motorbike rider at a red light in Hurstville about 6pm on Friday.

Video shows the elderly man punched multiple times in the middle of the road before witnesses intervened.

The pair block the traffic on the road until two passerbys ran over to break it up.

It's not yet known what sparked the fight.

NSW Police were unable to comment when contacted by Yahoo7.
