Family mourns death of 'special angel' allegedly beaten to death

A Perth woman has died after she was allegedly assaulted by her partner, leaving her mother mourning the loss of her "princess" daughter.

Margaret Indich was a miracle baby who was not expected to live more than a few months after she was born with a hole in her heart.

On Wednesday, the 38-year-old was found in a Cloverdale home after allegedly being brutally bashed by her partner of 18 years.

She died a short time later in hospital.

When paramedics arrived on scene, the man inside was allegedly acting aggressively and would not let them into the home.

By the time police arrived at the house, the man was gone.

After a police manhunt, he was arrested eight hours later in Riverdale - five kilometres from the scene.

Ms Indich's distraught mother said she cannot believe her daughter is gone.

She is the second person to die in Perth from alleged domestic violence in under a week.

Just days earlier, a 19-year-old Mandurah mother was allegedly murdered by the father of her daughter.

Christine D’Cruz left behind her six-week-old baby and her partner Junior Fayiah Carlos, 26, has been charged with murder.
