Gold Coast store's random act of kindness amid Boxing Day sales madness
A random act of kindness from a Queensland clothing store has won hearts during the Boxing Day sales madness.
On Tuesday, Jordan McArthur was shopping with his father Steven at streetwear store Culture Kings in Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast.
The little boy had spent an hour choosing items and another hour queuing only to realise he had lost his $50 gift card.
"He'd had it when we first lined up and he's somehow dropped it out of his pocket," Steven said.
The staff's response to the missing card was compassionate and they chose to honour the gift card.
"As his dad went to look for it, I just processed the sale. I felt sorry for him," staff member Tah-Nee Beard said.

On Wednesday, the family returned to Pacific Fair from their home in Logan to thank the staff for their generosity.
"They were able to give him something that I've been trying to give him his entire life and that's the lesson of giving," Steven said.
The owners even gave Jordan some specially branded items that are not for sale in store on his return.
"It made me feel so happy," Jordan said.
