WATCH: Shocking moment elderly men punch each other in road rage incident

Two elderly men “old enough to know better” were filmed scrapping like schoolboys in a road rage incident caught on a Queensland street.

The fight started as a 4WD and a sedan were filmed swerving and jostling in a turn.

Video of the incident, filmed on Wednesday at the Glass House Mountains, north of Brisbane, was posted to Dash Cam Owners Australia.

As the vehicles went round the bend, the sedan moved into the right-hand lane to overtake the 4WD.

The sedan succeeds but soon the 4WD tries the same manoeuvre as the cars head for a hill.

The 4WD overtakes, and the sedan swerves back into the left-hand lane before the two cars turn onto a street.

They pullover and two grey-haired drivers step out of their cars and begin arguing.

The sedan driver shoves the other man to the ground, but the opponent gets back to his feet and both trade a few blows.

After the scuffle, the sedan driver points to his car. The pair then begin to get back into their vehicles before the person filming the incident drives off.

While Queensland Police aren’t investigating the incident as they haven’t received a report, the behaviour of the two elderly men hasn’t gone unnoticed on Facebook.

The video has more 150,000 views with many stating the two “should know better”.

“Absolutely disgusting behaviour and dangerous driving for two old guys who you would think that they would be setting an example for others,” one user commented.

“Bloody old fools, they should’ve known better,” another said.

“Also this, like most of accidents and incidents, isn’t funny. These are people’s lives that include their family and friends too at the end of the day.”

But others were less critical of the brawling elderly men, with some saying there was nothing wrong with a bit of bluing.

"The old bucks throwing a few," one user commented.

"Nothing better. They've sorted out their [quarrel] and they'll head off now a little worse for it."
