Chiropractor confesses to filming more than 200 patients, including children

A 50-year-old father of three has admitted secretly filming more than 200 of his patients, aged between 11 and 60.

At his eastern suburbs practice, where cameras were hidden inside a pen and a digital clock near an X-ray machine, the chiropractor filmed his patients undressing.

The man appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court via video link from prison on Tuesday, pleading guilty to a staggering 216 counts of indecent filming, producing child pornography, possessing child exploitation material and indecent assault.

The self-confessed sex addict told a family friend it had been going on for about four years, while his list of victims continues to rise with police identifying a further four people.

In October a magistrate revoked his home detention bail, saying the offences were too serious for him to be released into the community.

Dozens of the man's victims filled the courtroom, with many revealing they were relieved he had admitted to his crimes.

The secrecy order on his identity is expected to be lifted when he fronts court again next month.
