Mystery surrounds naked model plunging to her death from Malaysian high-rise

Mystery surrounds the death of a teenage model who reportedly plunged 14 floors from an apartment in Malaysia before her body was found naked on the sixth floor.

Dutch model Ivana Smit, 19, returned to party with another couple at the Persiaran Capsquare block in Kuala Lumpur, early on Thursday morning after a night out.

Hours later her body was found on the balcony of the sixth floor after she allegedly fell from an apartment on the 20th floor, The Sun reported.

Police said there were no "criminal elements" to Ms Smit's death.

”She was found there naked. Where are her shoes and underwear?" her grandfather Hendrik Smit said.

Ms Smit's father Marcel has also questioned why it was several hours before his daughter's body was found.

He said she sent her boyfriend a text message at 7.30am and was not found until 2 or 3pm.

He also told a news agency that when he saw her body bruises, in the shape of fingers, were visible around her neck.
