'Here's $20, can I buy your undies?': Intoxicated ice addict confronts terrified woman at home

A Queensland woman has revealed the disturbing request an ice-induced man made when he turned up unannounced at her door.

Hannah Marsden, 31, from South Mackay, says the intoxicated man approached her home before offering cash for intimate items of her clothing.

"He just spoke really fast and was like 'here's $20 can I buy your undies?," she recalled to The Daily Mercury.

The bizarre proposal left the bartender stunned, unsure if the request was genuine or not.

"I was in so much shock I just looked at him and was like 'did you just ask me for my underwear?'," she said.

Marsden revealed the situation only worsened as he lingered at her doorway, telling her that he was "really high".

He then asked her for a shower as a terrified Marsden once again declined as she sized up the intruder in case of a potential altercation.

Eventually the man left her address, before locking her door and contacting the police.

She has since installed an extra security gate to prevent any further trouble.

Marsden credited her ability to handle the situation down to her years in the hospitality industry dealing with drunk patrons but she worries for more vulnerable members of the community.

"If he's got the balls to come up to my house and ask me that to my face, imagine what he could do to a kid or another woman in the street, people just need to be careful," she said.
