'Mister, I want to say I’m sorry': Young skateboarder leaves anonymous letter
A business owner is hoping to track down the writer of an apology letter sent to him along with money to fix a construction truck the anonymous author thought he had damaged.
"Mister, I want to say I'm sorry. My friends and I were running across the street where your truck was parked, and my friend pushed me into your truck and I scratched your truck with my skateboard," the letter read.
Inside the letter was $40 ($AU 52) for owner John Zelnio so he could make the necessary repairs.
The Illinois business owner told US broadcaster WQAD the letter made him "feel good".
"It is awesome. It made me feel good people are trying to do the right thing," he said.

The sender of the letter added that they had enclosed their lawn mowing money to cover the insurance.
"My dad said his had a hundred dollar payment for things like this," the letter read.
Mr Zelnio said his truck in fact isn't damaged and he would like to return the money to the young skateboarder.
"I will send some more [money] next week when I finish some more yards," the letter finishes.
