'I am watching you! Your daughter is cute': Chilling note 'stalker' left in family's mailbox
An alleged stalker of an eight-year-old girl has left a chilling note in the family's mailbox to tell them they were being watched.
Police said the little girl first saw the man hiding behind cars on her way to school in Brooklyn at 8.30am on Friday before he ran when seeing other parents.
The following day a note was found in the family's mailbox, the Daily News reported.
“Watch out. I am watching you!! Your daughter is cute,” it allegedly read.
Police said the little girl's brother also saw the same man on the Friday afternoon.

Officers said he tried to flag down the bus, before the driver threatened to call police.
He was then seen at the family's home and allegedly asked the little girl "where she sleeps" when she arrived back from school.
On Monday, police said a man turned himself in and was being questioned.
"We're speaking to him now. He appears to be that person. It's really preliminary right now but we'll talk to him further and see exactly what he was intending," an officer said.
