Heartbroken young sisters lose father one day before mother dies of cancer
Two young sisters have been left heartbroken and devastated after their father died a day before their mother passed away from cancer.
Simona, 23, and Sashka, 13, lost their mum Adriana Dudova to pancreatic cancer and their father Luca to a fatal heart attack earlier this month, The Sun reports.
Mrs Dudova had battled pancreatic cancer for five years but Mr Dudova had no pre-existing medical problems and died from a heart attack on October 7.
The mum passed away just 24 hours later.
Simona has now moved Sashka in with her and her husband Steven Turner in Peterborough in England’s east.
Adding to the double tragedy, Steven said the sisters can’t afford to give their parents the burial “they truly deserve”.
On a crowdfunding page, Mr Turner said the family had lost the lives of “two great people” who “were loving and caring parents and loved by all that had the pleasure of meeting them”.
“They were both taken from this world far too early,” Steven writes.

Mr Turner said Mr Dudova “was a gentleman” and a “strong, kind and brave man that provided for the family”, while Mrs Dudova was “an amazing, caring and loving mother and wife”.
“She always put the needs of her family above her own and created a loving home for them,” he writes.
Mr Turner hoped to raise more than A$10,000 for the couple’s funeral and so far has managed to collect more than A$15,000.
He said a funeral had been planned for Saturday local time.
