Man disgusted to find McDonald's burger is 'red-raw'

A McDonald's customer has been left outraged after he was served a burger he says was “red-raw” throughout.

The customer allegedly purchased a large Angus meal at Canberra's Lyneham store via the Drive Thru.

But he was shocked soon after when he opened the meal.

“Upon eating the burger I noticed something was not right,” the customer told Yahoo7.

"I inspected the burger and noticed it was red-raw."

The customer photographed his Angus meal before returning to the store to complain.

The customer claims he was further enraged when employees and management at the store failed to address his complaint properly.

He said he had to wait more than 25 minutes for a refund but in the end he "gave up and went home".

In a statement to Yahoo7, a McDonald's spokesperson said this was an isolated incident and no other products were impacted.

"We’re obviously disappointed this has happened," the spokesperson said.

"This was an isolated incident and did not affect any other products.

"We have reinforced our procedures with the restaurant and are continuing to liaise with the customer directly as we investigate further."
