Incredible moment soldier brings drowned puppy back to life with CPR

A soldier has won admirers around the world after a video of him miraculously rescuing a puppy on the verge of drowning went viral.

Weeraphon Sukudom, from Thailand, found the lifeless pup in a flooded garage but against all odds managed to resuscitate the tiny dog through CPR.

Sukodom's colleagues captured the amazing moment on camera and the clip has since been viewed millions of times worldwide.

In his first attempt at the medical procedure, the 25-year-old can be seen massaging the dog's chest in a bid to get its lungs working again.

"We found him floating in the water and started trying to save him. I learned CPR a long time ago but had never done it before on a human or animal. But I had to try to save the little dog," Sukodom told Newsflare.

His efforts were not to be in vain and the soldier miraculously managed to rescue the puppy from the jaws of death.

And in a fairytale ending for the adorable hound, Sukudom has now adopted his new buddy 'Champion' in his bid to nurse the puppy back to full health.
