'Breeding season is in full swing': Snake pictured hiding in Queensland garage

A photo of a snake hiding in plain sight in a Queensland garage has stumped internet users.

Posted to Facebook by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, many people have been left scratching their heads trying to find the carpet python.

"Breeding season is in full swing at the moment," employee Dan wrote on Sunday.

"I was called to a Cooroy home, where the resident had noticed a snake in their garage."

"Upon arrival, there seemed to be a lot of scales for one snake. Further investigation revealed what was a breeding pair!"


The image posted to the company's Facebook page was taken after one snake was removed, as Dan didn't realise there was a second one until he started to move the first one.

"Wow! Sneaky one," one person wrote.

"Well I can't see it anywhere," another person said.

"I blew it up and still can't see a snake," someone commented.
