Heartbreaking twist in soap star daughter's festival death
The actor who lost his daughter after she was found dead at Bestival has shared a heartbreakinng photo after conceding her death was a tragic accident.
Louella Michie, the daughter of Coronation Street's John Michie, was found unresponsive in a wooded area on the edge of the Dorset festival site at 1am on Monday.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old's ex-boyfriend Ceon Broughton was released without charge and her family believe there was no "malice intended," The Mirror reported.
The day after Ms Michie's body was found, her father posted a photo of her vacant bedroom, with a guitar hanging on the wall and flowers on her dresser, to his Instagram account.
Police confirmed the young woman's body showed no signs of assault and her family believe her death was a tragic accident.
"Our hearts are broken by this horrific tragedy. We do not believe there to have been any malice intended in Louella and Ceon's weekend at Bestival," a statement from Michie read.

"They appear to have taken an illegal substance but we would appreciate cautious and sensitive reporting until the facts are known.
"Louella inspired all who knew her with her joy of life."
A police spokesperson said: "Following the discovery of the woman's body we have now launched an investigation into her death.
"Further examinations will need to take place over the coming weeks, including toxicology, in order to establish if there are any substances in her system or other suspicious circumstances.
"We are working closely with the festival organisers."
A statement from Bestival said: "Following today's news announcement, the team at Bestival are devastated to hear about this tragic news.
"We continue to support the police in their ongoing investigation and our thoughts and prayers are with all the woman's family and friends."
