Missing Melbourne rising dance star found 'safe and well' after urgent search

A Melbourne dancer who mysteriously disappeared without a trace, has been found safe and well following an urgent call to find her.

Worried family and friends raised the alarm on Friday after Anna Magrath did not arrive at her boyfriend's home, as planned.

The 21-year-old was last seen on security cameras, sleeping in her car at a fuel station at Pakenham, south-east of the city, Thursday night.

The rising star has appeared in stage shows including the King and I as well as a number of TV shows and commercials.

Her worried friends, including her dance colleagues, said her disappearance was out of character.

“Anna left her parents' house last night at 8.30pm, saying she was going to her boyfriend's house which was five minutes away,” friend Jason Coleman said.

“But she never showed up, which has put us all into a day of, well you can't even understand the emotions we've gone through today.”
