Three-year-old Sydney girl Kawa Sweeney was resuscitated by a Perth doctor who gave her CPR for more than an hour before she was flown to Perth for treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital.

The little girl was with her family at thw Uluwatu Surf Villas on Sunday morning when she was found unconscious at the bottom of the pool.

In a stroke of incredible luck, Cottesloe orthopedic surgeon Grant Booth had just been surfing with Kawa's father and heard the commotion from the beach.

Dr Booth performed CPR on Kawa for over an hour and got her heart beating again.

"We're just so incredibly grateful for him and the people around that were able to save her life," Kawa's aunt Christine Walsh said.

Kawa's family were told they needed to pay $42,000 before the medical flight could take off, with medical expenses costing even more.

A GoFundMe page was set up and in less than 24 hours it had raised more than $75,000.

"There's no words really, just to say thank you, thank you so much," Ms Walsh said.

The family said any leftover money raised through the GoFundMe page will be donated to charity.

The little girl's parents run the successful homewares business Kawaiian Love Shack. They are originally from Perth and said they were planning to move home soon.

Kawa often features on the Kawaiian Instagram page and Ms Walsh said the little girl "is always in the shop" and has "touched a lot of hearts."

Her mother, Dee Tang, flew into Perth on Sunday evening with Kawa's little sister, who is only one year old.

Kawa will remain in an induced coma for the next few days while her parents wait to hear if she has suffered any brain damage.
