WATCH: Eleven puppies freed from muddy hole after storm
The Michigan Humane Society has captured adorable footage of eleven puppies being rescued from a hole in the back yard of a Detroit home after a rainstorm.
There were concerns the puppies would not survive heavy rains in the flooded hole so workers removed them, local news organisation WXYZ reports.
Their mum was eventually coaxed out of the hole and was reunited with her puppies.
A Michigan Humane Society staff member said the mum had dug the hole under a dog house in the backyard and hidden her puppies down there.
They were unable to get out of the hole on their own.
