Woman found dead in store bathroom three days after staff put 'out of order' sign on door

The body of a mother-of-one has been found in the bathroom of a Walmart store, three days after staff put an "out-of-order" sign on the door.

The woman, identified as Katherine Caraway, 29, was discovered at the Sands Springs store in Oklahoma on Monday afternoon and police said CCTV captured her walking in on Friday.

Employees told police they thought the private bathroom was out-of-order after noticing it had been locked over the weekend, Tulsa World reported.

The body was only found after a staff member unlocked the door on Monday.

Police said there were no signs of foul play and are investigating.

Walmart issued a statement on Monday, saying it was "saddened" by the discovery.

"We don't know all the facts right now, but we are working closely with local law enforcement to provide what information we have that might be useful," the statement read.
