Schapelle Corby posts picture of broken leg from hospital bed
After a brief hiatus from her newly created Instagram account, Schapelle Corby resurfaced on Thursday with a post of her lying in a hospital bed with a broken leg.
An hour after Corby posted the image of herself in hospital whites, the image had more than 2500 'likes'.
"Hi guys. This is why you haven't seen me in a while," Corby wrote, with the hashtags: #sickbay, #brokenleg, #brokenankle #brokenknee.
There is no mention of how she received the injuries or what hospital she is in.
Corby's last social media missive was a Snapchat video post from five days ago that has received more than 105,000 views.
The convicted drug smuggler currently has more than 197,000 followers on Instagram.
While some followers were not so kind about her latest post, others offered love and support.
"I don't think people give a **** about you, sorry, just sayin' ," one follower, @tez_bsk, wrote.
But others were more positive in tone.
"Hope you have a speedy recovery @schapelle.corby," @juliewalker4655 wrote.
"Sending energy & love."
